Camel Castaway

Intro:

Hello, Camel Castaway playtesters!

This is a 2D, pixel-art-based game with minimal action. The objective is easy: avoid predators, shoot tumbleweeds, collect treasures, and get to the castle. This is a fairly low-commitment and easy game with bg music and cute animations. Have fun!!

Backstory: Camel was part of a treasure convoy that shipped civilian tributes to Jugurtha, the Numidian King, who was infamous for his ruthlessness. Unfortunately, on the way across the Saharan Desert, a sandstorm struck the convoy. As a lone camel 🐫, but one who is determined to complete their job, you must pick up all the remaining treasures and make it to Jugurtha's castle, without first turning into carrion for the vultures. 

*this is just a little test of the first four levels, so it's rlly rlly short.  release date of the future levels is unknown.

also, this is my first game ever so please be nice :> nonetheless, feel free to leave feedback! and pls pls tell me if there's a silly bug somewhere 🪲

Hello, I'm Jins00! The game was solely created by me, along with the help of a couple of UCLA game lab instructors who taught me through a summer course. (i recommend the class; it's really fun!) Feel free to ask me about how I made the game or my design process. Here's a little get-to-know-me fact 😝: For most of my life, I've been really into traditional art.  However, recently, my interests have started to gravitate towards more technological forms of art. It's been really insightful :D

The video is a little laggy and blurry because of the lack of quality, but I can assure you that the gameplay is smooth while playing🎷.
